Moving Checklists

We want to help make your move a success

You don't move every day...but we do.

At least, we help tenants to move nearly every day. Our checklists cover the most important responsibilities on your plate as you begin to prepare to change homes. If you have questions or concerns not addressed below, please call to speak with our team: (405) 927-4159

Move-in Checklist

We want to welcome you to your new home on the right foot. Keep these important keys in mind as you prepare to take possession of the property.

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent payment and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Please make sure to confirm all amounts with our team before the signing.

Move-in Date & Inspection

Your official move-in date and all information about the initial inspection and key exchange will be provided at the lease signing.

Utilities

You are responsible for keeping all utility accounts for your rental home current throughout the duration of your stay. Please put the accounts in your name immediately following the lease signing.

Move-out Checklist

We're always sad to wish our tenants farewell, but we hope you've enjoyed your stay with us. Please review the move-in checklist as you begin planning your move.

Notice of Intent to Vacate

If you're planning to move out of your home, please refer to your lease to determine your official move-out date. We also ask that you provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises.

Property Condition

Before you hand in the keys for your rental, please take care of the following:

Rental Cleaning: Properly clean your rental home as you prepare to move out. This includes removing all of your belongings, disposing of trash, and sanitizing every room in the property. Please be sure to vacuum/mop all floors and wipe down hard surfaces.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically take care of outdoor landscaping chores like mowing the lawn, please take care of these responsibilities once more before moving out.

Repairs: Before you move, please address any damages that occurred during your stay. This may include patching nail and screw holes, painting stained areas, and replacing broken glass. For more significant damages, speak to our team.

Security Deposit

After you move out of the rental, we will perform a final inspection to check for any damage. If we identify any problems, we will schedule repairs and deduct the related expenses from the deposit.

Please note, your deposit cannot be used to cover your last rent payment. Failure to pay your rent may result in late fees, adverse credit reporting, and legal action.
