Toilet Clogs

If your toilet becomes clogged, you can typically restore it to working order using a plunger. If you don't own a plunger, visit a local hardware or big box store to purchase one of these tools.

With the plunger in hand, simply press the rubber bottom around the drain hole in the toilet bowl. Ensure you've created a watertight seal and begin to pump the plunger up and down to push anything stuck through the pipe.

Repeat this maneuver until the water in the toilet drains.

Sink/Shower Drains

If your sink or shower isn't draining properly, you can purchase a drain cleaning tool to remove debris from the trap. Please don't use harsh chemicals to clean the drain, as these could damage the pipes.

If you lose electrical power...

First, call your utility provider. There may be billing issues on your account or outages in your area may be impacting your rental.

If you still need help after speaking to them, please get in touch with us.

If you don't have hot water in your rental, locate the water heater in your property. Verify that the settings look correct; if your water heater is gas-powered, you'll also need to check that the pilot light is lit.

If you make any changes to the temperature settings, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again.

If your heat or air conditioning isn't working, locate the central thermostat in your property and verify that all settings are accurate. You may be able to cycle your system off and back on again to restore the defaults.
